"I had...suspicions, I suppose." Still, Malfoys weren't gay. Who one dallied with outside the marriage bed one thing. Lucius may have been faithful to Narcissa, but that didn't mean all marriages were that way. If Draco had wanted to sleep with men on the side, he would have understood that. To openly flaunt a relationship with Potter was something else altogether. "Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I will...think upon it."
Lucius narrowed his eyes, disliking the tone Scorpius took with him. He had assumed that his future self had been a shell of a man, but to have it thrown in his face by a boy was almost more than he could take. Still, this was his grandson and he couldn't take his temper out on him. It seemed the boy didn't know any better, and that wasn't his fault.
"Of course I want to get to know you. You're a Malfoy, and in the end, that's what matters." The boy was still young. So was Draco for that matter. There might be an opportunity to do better this time around. Lucius just had to plan what exactly that would look like.
