Re: Peter/Cass
She appreciated how patient he was with her with these new words. It seemed strange that language could change that much in such a short span of time but the world, especially the Muggle world, was always progressing so quickly. The wizarding world often seemed to stagnate when it too should have progressed.
"Life was a bit less convenient in my time," she shrugged slightly as if that explained everything. It just seemed in bad taste to go on about her unusual life on a pureblood estate considering everything he had been through. And she really did genuinely like him so she was being very careful not to insult Peter.
"It was a clever observation and I like unusual questions," but of course she did because that meant there was something new to discover and learn or discuss. "That's very sweet of you - most turn away from the... Abnormal." Every bit of anti-werewolf propaganda railed in her head but she would be patient and learn on her own as she always did. "One should be large enough for fruit trees. I don't think they'd survive outside of the greenhouse with the torrents Hogwarts can get."
