"I thought about warning him about his grandfather but I don't like his attitude," she muttered, pulling her arms into her cloak and crossing them tight, giving her hands a chance to warm up. Admittedly, she hadn't actually met or even spoken to Malfoy Sr but the thoughts had flitted through her mind on a soft breeze.
She snorted faintly at his description of the Malfoys. "And they think my family's low for not following patriarchal conventions," her shoulders shifted in the faintest of shrugs. Cass paused for a moment... And then decided leaning against Peter's side would be the most beneficial thing she could do. "This land is so scarred. The... energy in it. Finding a good place for the new greenhouses is feeling exhausting." Or maybe that was just her. Maybe she was just tired all the goddamned time.
