"Cameras? CCTV? Like the stuff Muggles use to make television?" he asked curiously. He'd seen some TV in some of the hostels he'd stayed in. Some of what he'd seen made him wonder why the magical world was so scared of Muggles finding out. They made up stuff that was far more fantastic than anything they did. "You play Quidditch?" he said more brightly. "What team?"
Yeah," he said hesitantly then again with a bit more confidence, "Yeah, that'd be... that'd be good."
He looked down at his clothes, feeling a little insulted, but then had to concede her point. While they were still intact, they were filthy. He'd tried keeping them clean but he didn't have much and so they were... not great. "Yeah, a shower would be good for a start," he said with a smile. "Damn, I haven't had a good, long hot shower in ages. The places I've been staying usually have a shower but... they're not real nice and usually don't have much in the way of hot water."
He looked up at the school as they climbed the stairs. "You said the castle brought us here. It can really do that? And why?" He waved a hand. "I mean, not the curse thing you told me about but... why me? Why you? Why any of us?"
