Fenrir had realised someone was coming towards him pretty quickly, probably sooner than others might have. Sometimes he felt like he was able to hear and smell things better than he had before he'd been bitten but he wasn't sure. He was probably kidding himself, trying to find some kind of silver lining (HA!) in the shitshow that was his life these days. But whatever the cause, he saw the person approaching him quite quickly and had to force himself not to hunch in on himself.
The woman, whose name he didn't recognise, who said hello was very pretty and if he'd felt more like himself, he might have given her a grin and a bit of a line but he didn't. He felt like shit, both from the disaster of the previous day and the night spent sleeping in the open.
"Uh, Fenrir Greyback," he said, feeling more than a little disconcerted by her smile. No one had smiled at him like that for a long time and he didn't really know what to do with it. "Look, you don't need to tell me to piss off. I already know I can't stay."
