Ron knew he and Hermione were going to have to have a discussion about the two years between when she was from and when he was from, but that could wait. Would have to wait, as Hermione launched into a dozen questions in rapid succession. It was a very Hermione way of dealing with things, and he couldn't help the fond smile or the squeeze he gave her hand.
"The closest we've got right now is Lucius Malfoy, and sadly he's been behaving himself so we can't even hex him. It's aggravating." Ron wasn't even a little bit joking about that; he wanted Lucius to do something that would justify a hex. "Yeah, we've been spending most of our time on a treasure hunt for everything the two of you hid. It's somewhere at Hogwarts, but Hogwarts is playing coy."
The tea arrived, and he took it upon himself to fix both her and Harry's tea exactly the way they liked it as he answered a few more of her questions. "We've been here almost a month now, I think. A bunch of us arrived all together, then it's been one or two every couple of days. No pattern to it yet." At least, not one that had obviously presented itself.
