"Good taste I see," Regulus answered with a little smile. "I can imagine why they'd give them to you. They do seem like something my mother would pick out. There was never an object with a snake that she didn't like." He had no problem picking out the things that belonged to Dumbledore.
"Everything we had went to Sirius and then to Potter. Highly upsetting, but then it's not like I had much time to get married and have children." He would have done it too, not just to please his mother, but because he felt it was important. "None of it matters now. We're both here, we're both dealing with his. Potter says that he'll give our things back, but it's not like money will mean much when everything is in this school."
Regulus sniggered. "It would be a little creepy sleeping in his room." He grinned. "Does this mean that you can use it now? The only person you'd distract is me. In fact, you would annoy Sirius if you manage to get good hair. That alone makes it worth it."
