Re: Remus/Sirius
Closing his eyes, Remus took a deep breath and nodded. He wasn't sure he agreed that he had no fault. But, as long as he and Sirius were good, he could let that argument go. Opening his eyes in time to see the stretch of arms and the cracking of the aristocratic Black neck, he smirked softly, but refrained -- just this once -- from saying I told you so.
"That's not a bad idea," Remus said thoughtfully, turning over the implications in his head. He wasn't sure it would work, necessarily. But, he wasn't sure it wouldn't, either, which made it the perfect project for the three (four?) of them. "The logistics of an alarm like that would be pretty complicated. But, that just means we need to get a little creative in figuring out how to make it work. I mean, I don't know that it would be deemed worthy enough to go in the vault unless they knew what it was. It looks like just a piece of parchment that insults you, after all. It could definitely come in handy, though. I think we also need to get our hands on some of the new muggle technology, the cameras and phones, maybe some instructional material, and see if we can't work out some charms and things that will better help us move unseen through the muggle world."
He reached for his journal, only to realize it was the magical one for communications, which caused a huff of annoyance as he suck that one back into his back pocket and pulled the normal one he kept shrunk to fit out of his jacket pocket. Just as he had in their school days when they were brainstorming, he started scribbling out ideas as they talked. "There have to be ways to manipulate the technology just like with the wireless. They just haven't been discovered, yet. And won't be if we don't start. No one else to do it."
