Re: Remus/Sirius
It was hard, listening to Remus talk about the things he'd gone through. The things that had been part of why everything fell to pieces. But he could sense his friend relaxing, and could just tell that Remus needed to talk about it. He probably hadn't been able to talk to anyone. Except maybe Dumbledore. How heartbreakingly lonely. And then to spend the years after thinking two of his best friends were dead and the other a traitor... Remus was a lot stronger than Sirius would ever be.
"That's something we can do in this new world. Reform the werewolf laws. Make wolfsbane free to everyone. Make sure no one in this country has to suffer the way they did." He wrapped an arm around Remus' shoulder and pulled him into a side hug. "If we get to make the new rules, we should make sure they're worth following."
