"Then nothing. It was mostly identities, confirming names they suspected. They asked about other stuff, but it's not like Dumbledore came to me and told me what he was doing," Peter said. "He called meetings like ten minutes before so it's not like I could even tell them that, and besides those were at Hogwarts." Dumbledore didn't pay house visits and if he did, they were unexpected and unannounced, making it impossible for Peter to tell anyone.
"I don't know why she believed me but she did. She has this stare, like she wants to suck your soul out, but she would just nod and leave." He didn't know what else there was to say. "They haven't- hadn't caught on about the Fidelius yet, so I haven't said anything. They would have gone to Sirius first, I'd assume."
