Albus had known that Cassie had had a few problems with some of the other girls in her year, and he had felt for her. He had never had much time for such people - he'd done his best to help where he could, but he was sure that there were more times when he hadn't been able to step in than he had.
"Do you need any help?" Hands in his pockets, Albus wandered around the tables to the small window, stooping down to look out of it at the grounds spread below them. From all the way up here, it was almost possible to believe that they were back in their own time.
"I suppose so." The young professor smiled absently, turning back to face his friend. "There isn't much to tell, in all honesty. You know I started teaching?"
Of course, in true Albus fashion, that was only the surface of everything which had happened over the last few years. The turmoil of his first year out of school, the grief, the aimless work and wandering... it was only since joining the Hogwarts staff that he'd started to feel tethered again.
"And yourself?" He asked, walking back to join her by he kettle. "I see your name in the prophet on occasion."
