Albus was starting to see why his older self had found Severus Snape valuable, or whatever he had thought of the man. This was the first really interesting conversation he had had since arriving. Not that the other residents of the castle didn't have their own strengths of course, but this - this was more Albus' area.
"And what of this theory that it takes people who have made an impression?" He asked, his tone becoming eager despite itself. He had heard it banded about and had his own thoughts on it, but Albus found himself eager to hear the other man's.
"You could argue that those likely to make such an imprint are almost more likely to die unnaturally, I suppose." Such people were unlikely to sit on the sidelines in life. "Two birds with one stone, if you will."
