"Very wise," said Albus agreeably. "We wouldn't want anyone to lose a digit." He settled back in his chair, not yet selecting the next book in the pile even as he glanced across at them.
"Mr Potter asked for someone to check if we had enough textbooks to support a first year curriculum." Albus shrugged one bony shoulder, his gaze still on the books. "I'm a little behind on a lot of the developments, so I thought I better be thorough..." It was easier said than done, of course. There were only limited resources here, from books to teachers - starting up any formal teaching would be a challenge. But the redhead had to admit, his own curiosity was certainly piqued. He had never been part of something like this from the very inception before.
Albus finally looked back at the man, offering him a faint smile as he introduced himself. "I know," he admitted. "Forgive me, there aren't many people in this castle. But it's a pleasure to meet you properly, so to speak. I heard you were headmaster?"
