"I thought they were probably left well alone for the time being" the redhead admitted. He wondered what the other wizard was looking for back there. For a school, Hogwarts did seem to stock some rather unsavory volumes. Still, he knew better than most that sometimes it was... necessary to get closer to such things than one would like.
That said, he decided not to ask after Snape's intentions. It wasn't his business, and Merlin knew they were granted very little privacy in this castle.
"Well, that's disheartening," Albus commented mildly, sitting back in his chair as the other teacher examined the tattered old book. "I believe I checked it out of the 'new additions' section in my fourth year." He stretched, lifting both long arms above his head and feeling his muscles complain after hours hunched over a table.
"It must take a certain type to be Hogwarts librarian," he added, a small smile blossoming at the corner of his mouth. "They all seem to be cut from a very similar cloth, so to speak."
