That was the truth of it. At least she could still feel her wand in the hidden pocket of her skirt. It had made the trip and that was what mattered. But the laugh made her smile even if it also made her head throb, "Well, the secret is - only fools, idiots, and dreamers ever enter politics. And the dreamers don't last long." Which left them surrounded by fools and idiots in important places.
Ah, there it was - the recognition. So she was in the textbooks now. It was unsurprising but it was nice to know that one of her family had been teaching at the school. Savannah was certainly a talker, wasn't she? It was rather a mile a minute but if she was carrying the conversation then Cassandra could focus on keeping her balance. "A Hufflepuff," she murmured with that fond smile returning, "I should have known."
Of course, Savannah was a Hufflepuff. All the signs were there - the best of the houses, in her opinion, even over her own Ravenclaw. Who could hate the black-and-yellow? "I appreciate the offer but I think perhaps I should settle in the North Tower. I believe there's an apartment there but if there's not, I'll turn the office into one. If my descendant was teaching here, some of my things may be present."
