9:20AM - Fic: 'He's a Pirate' (01/01)

Title: He's a Pirate
Author: [info]ithildin
Rating: PG
Warnings/Notes: Something of a sequel to 'One Day', but not a crossover.
Character(s): Methos, Duncan, OFC
Summary: Duncan begins a new venture with a little help (a very little help) from a friend.

1:00PM - wip Amnesy Day (very belated)

Usually wip Amnesty Day is sometime in February. This year I didn't see any mention of it anywhere, so I'm assuming I somehow missed it. (I was gone in early February and didn't read all my backlog lists then.)

So, I'm dragging it back out before March is over, just in case anyone else was waiting for it and missed it.

The point of wip Amnesty Day is to post up some of your undone fic that has long since missed it's prime of writing activity. It isn't that you won't finish it, necessarily, just that it needs to either be let go, let free, fly away! Or, it needs a gentle nudge to make you pay attention to it again. Your choice.

I've got mine posted over at [info]elistaire and it's from 5 years ago. The wine, it may now be vinegar, I think!
working title of Vertigo, slashy DM/M, less than half of it written

If nothing else, it's an interesting pursuit to look over the land of lost fics in the files on your hard drives.

Remember to post the links here so we can all enjoy Fics of the Inspiration Past.

5:47PM - WIP Amnesty Fic: Alone Is The Last Place I Wanted To Be

This was the next in my series of *Highlander/Grey's Anatomy fics. I started writing it at the end of second season of GA, and then it just sort of died. Or at the very least, pining for the Fjords! Part of the problem is that the story in the series I really wanted to write was 70 years in the future, and this one suffered for it. Will I ever finish it? I have no idea. I haven't touched it since last summer, so odds are... not. Or maybe I'll incorporate it into a flashback during one of the future stories -- I've done that before! I really need to do something with it, if only for the last bit, which contains one of my favourite lines ever.

6:09PM - WIP Amnesty Day Fic: Limbo Blues

Ahh, WiPs are a dish best served cold...oh, wait, that's not right. Still, in honor of the day, I am posting a fic over on [info]mackiedockie

Title: Limbo Blues (HL/BTVS crossover, AU, round robin, WiP)
Characters: Methos, Joe, Tara Maclay
Warnings: Gen, character demise, irony, snark. Not necessarily in that order.

Author note: Originally posted in a round robin on Wrisomifu at eljay, a flocked journal, but it kind of teeters on it's own. The short AU round robin kickoff description:

In Limbo, there is a Committee which considers the fate of the souls of morally ambiguous characters in fiction - do they ascend or descend? Tara Maclay from BtVS is a non-voting observer on the Committee--her job description is vague, which rather puts her square between the Committee and her morally ambiguous charges. Fair warning--everyone is dead in this fiction. Ex-parrots, as it were. In Limbo.
