Nick's mind was on nothing but helping Rosie find her rhythm as he twirled her out and then twirled her back in again, giving her look of mischievous amusement before dipping her playfully and drawing her back up again. They won scattered applause from a few of the other people standing nearby and Nick had to laugh as he stopped being an idiot for a moment and resumed dancing in a less attention-grabbing manner.
"I've been told numerous times what a horrible friend I am," he joked. Aside from being repeatedly begged to stop eating all the food in his friends' fridges, he hadn't heard a complaint yet. And one of his favourite things to do was drag his friends out of their homes and off somewhere fun. "What's one more crime against friendship if it gets you out and about?"
Her words made him laugh. "You're a saint, Rose Weasley. Most would pretend they didn't know me while I shamelessly embarrassed myself."
