"Hi," she said back, still trying to get the blood to flow out of her face and back into the rest of her body.
It has really hard for Rose to not look at Nick looking at her in the way he did when he knew he had made her blush and not blush even more, but Rose steeled herself against his knowing gaze and smiled brightly. "I didn't forget to eat," Rose said, her voice just barely audible over the music and crowd of people which was surrounding them. 'This time,' she added to herself silently. "When you grow up a Weasley, you learn to value the food on your plate or else it will go away before you can say 'ham sandwich'." Rose added, emphasising the fact that she definitely was no someone who forgot to eat because she was caught up in a book. Nope. But- did that make her seem like she was a cow? Oh dear.
Welcoming the change in topic when Nick extended his hand, Rose eagerly accepted his extended hand before realising the other one was still clutching her water. "Just...let me put this down and I will be happy to dance with you," Rose said before reaching over to set the glass on the nearest table. "All right!" she said brightly while hoping that Nick would be able to assume that she couldn't dance all that well.
