August 20, 2029 | Thursday Characters: Isabel Morris & Open! Setting: Evening 11pm. August 20, 2029. Knockturn Alley. Summary: Isabel's walking home from work...she manages to scare herself a little and collide with tbd.
Despite what was said of Knockturn Alley, Isabel Morris loved living and working there most days. Employed by the Modern Wizard she rarely had trouble walking two buildings over to get to her residence of choice in the ever not-so glamorous, Wickett Building. On top of that she lived right in the middle of the evening night life and was usually confident that nothing would go wrong what with so many people around and all.
Today, however, she'd been out of sorts. She'd had to deal with a rather uncomfortable sort of bloke. His fitting was complete with poorly placed attempts to flatter her. Which, of course, led to his asking her out and then...her declining. And then...well... he was creepy for a reason and being declined a date only made him more so. Aside from a comment about her regretting it later, his strange antics of crossing by the store window multiple times the remainder of the day didn't lead the young woman to feel all that safe.
Having been scheduled to close that evening Isabel's occasionally wild imagination didn't help her in the least when it came to closing shop and walking home. She'd given the street a scan, and though there were a few lined up outside of Amortentia and others loitering in front of Alley Slots...she didn't feel as confident as she usually did. She could have sworn she'd seen the spurned customer from earlier that day standing across the street a good ten minutes before close up and now...
Merlin she didn't want a lunatic following her home!
As she walked she considered dashing into the night club for a few to lose the guy if he were following her. Perhaps she'd apparte to her parents place for awhile... or her brothers... or..
A startled yelp left her and her entire body jolted awkwardly in fright. Out of no where someone seemed to bump into Isabel and she instinctively reacted like any woman would. With a short lived scream. Stopping and realizing it wasn't who she'd been worried it was she offered an embarrassed sort of laugh and said, "I'm sorry... I'm so sorry."
