He whittled tiny animals. How freaking cute was that? There was always a chance that he was terrible at it and they just looked like misshapen lumps of wood, but Benjamin struck her as the solitary sort who worked hard at everything he did; his carvings were probably adorable.
It was a shame she got the feeling he wasn’t looking for anything more than a hiking buddy.
