Although she technically lived in New York City, Giulia did have a major soft spot for Sleepy Hollow. She wasn't working tonight and didn't have another gig until Saturday, and so she'd found herself wandering the charming town. The weather seemed to be warming up, enough that she was comfortable in her silky, green over shirt. She had a large woven tote bag in shades of blue and green slung over one shoulder, a few things she'd picked up while window shopping tucked away in it.
As she was walking down the road, she spotted the man peering in one of the windows, and her brows furrowed. She paused at the windows opposite the door where he was looking in, and she looked through the dirty, cloudy glass. It had clearly been closed quite a long time, and she wondered what it had been. A step back and a glance up showed the faded residue of the old sign, designating the place as a pet shop.
"I don't think they're open," she told him in dry humor as he looked down at his watch, her lips twitching as she tried to hold back her amusement.
