It was unusual for Joe to be the one blushing, and Ram wondered what image was playing through his mind right now to bring that heat into his cheeks. He could've asked, but Joe had implied he might one day have a list of his own, and Ram was surprisingly content to let him build it up from whatever thoughts happened to catch his attention. They had all the time in the world, and there were plenty of things on Ram's list to keep them going, even if he did still feel the slightest trace of nerves about the idea of sharing all of them. "I don't know what you're thinking, but I like it," was all he said, sure he liked any thought that made Joe blush.
Joe's faith and acceptance had yet to stop making Ram's heart leap in his chest. He was starting to seriously question whether it ever would, let alone whether he wanted it to. He shifted his seat a little closer, conveniently forgetting the fact that he would, eventually, need to paint the side of the canvas not next to Joe. For right now, that side could stay mostly blue and this side could have all the detail of flowers and butterflies that Ram was visualising. "Such a good team. As long as it's not at bowling." Ram's familiarity with Star Trek was basically nil, but it coming on the heels of saying Joe might remember dreams of being an astronaut amused him. "You'll have to fill me in. Is Dax a good character to be named after?"
