"I don't think I did," Sam agreed easily, smiling as he remembered that evening. When he had parked up his car that evening, he had been clueless about just how much his life was about to change.
He started to unfold the tarp so that he could spread it out on the ground. "I drove up to Sleepy Hollow from Boston and, after not seeing my sister for quite some time, naturally I decided that the first thing I should go and do is see my new shop," he joked. If he'd gone to see Iris first, he might never have met Giulia, though he hoped that fate would have brought them together somehow.
"She was walking by and saw me looking in the window. Giulia made a joke about the shop being closed." Sam's smile was fond as he recalled the first teasing exchange. "We got talking and ended up having dinner at Hollow Hill Tavern."
