Heather laughed, knowing she wasn't particularly subtle about her facial expressions when she scented something unless she was actively trying. The boost that her rediscovered alpha side had given to her senses would have been a shock to anyone, but Heather felt she had a handle on it now. "I can't believe you still drink that," she said, shaking her head. She hadn't had alcohol for weeks, though maybe she would for tonight for the sake of nostalgia.
"Oh?" Heather raised her eyebrows. She wasn't sure what to make of the smirk on his face, laughing again. "I might have shared a few things. It's not every day you find someone who doesn't just want to spend time with little Bobby but also wants to know all about him." As it happened, swapping stories had led to her own discovery about herself.
