"Great!" He stopped short of saying 'it's a date'. They'd barely been talking for an hour, but whatever embarrassing things he thought would happen seemed to be far away. Is this what confidence felt like, or was he just happy that this had somehow gone smooth enough?
He paused and finished what was left of his drink. "I'm free most week nights, except Tuesdays and Thursdays, and of course weekends, but how does your job work? I mean the Valkyrie thing? Honestly, I trying to decide whether to ask you for your number, or just give you mine."
