"In a sense," taking a moment to formulate a simpler answer. "I'm not clumsy, but rather a bit accident prone. Outlandish accidents that seem to befall me through no fault of my own." He heaved a a sigh, "And I'm not talking a spilled drink. Thankful that hasn't happened so far. So I tended to keep to myself and to environments I could control."
It all sounded paranoid and ridiculous and each time he explained it to someone he expected a curt reply and nod before never seeing that person again. But he couldn't blame his 'blended family' as he called them without it sounding like his step-mother was abusive, and coming out as saying he was a son of Zeus made him sound crazy.
"So yeah, no one ever believed me when I told them about the accidents that I started retreating back in on myself and away from anything harmful to myself."
