Once again, his eyebrows rose. "More than a doctor it seems." He laughed. Was anyone around here human? Not that it bothered him, he found it kind of amazing, to be honest. Nodding along, he 'hmm'd at her recap of her last couple of days, weirdly happy that he could help her out and that it had worked out so easily for her. She just seemed so... Nice. Normal. Was that weird? She was like, an anomaly in his world.

"Oh, Robert. Sorry about that. I'm not usually introducing myself to people." He put out his hand to shake hers as he winced, realizing how ridiculous that sounded. "I'm not the social butterfly I come off as," he joked sardonically, trying to make it sound like he didn't care that he'd fucked it up.
