Coming to karaoke had been just another way that Dani was amusing herself and passing the time before Alex made his way back home. With any luck, she figured she might run into a friend or two. She had been looking forward to maybe seeing Logan or Ram, maybe even Emilia. She couldn't help but wonder just what Logan's singing voice sounded like.
Her outfit had been just something silly and fun, one of her favorite red dresses paired with a ridiculous matching set of cowboy boots, her dark curls left to hang down and wild all night. Her first song had been Alright by Supergrass, something fun, and setting her intention to have a fun summer, and hopefully life. If things kept going the way they were, she had a good feeling she was on her way to manifesting it.
After the first song was over, she found herself at the bar getting a new drink. Her back had been to the stage when Alex had gotten up there, chatting with the gorgeous blonde woman that was complimenting her on song choice. Dani had been mid-sentence when she heard that familiar voice, she would have known it anywhere. "I'm so sorry, I've got to be somewhere," she apologized to the woman, before she was making her way through the crowd to get to the stage.
Her mossy green eyes never left his matching set, her smile large as she hummed softly along to herself. "Goofy man, could have called," she muttered to herself, amused and happy to have her partner back in town. She made it to the table just in front of the stage, before she sat down to watch. She didn't even care who else was seated at the table, she only had eyes for the man on stage.
