What he said didn't worry him. There was more baggage than Eric was willing to divulge. An adolescent werewolf was nothing to take lightly, but outside of their pack people were less understanding and downright cruel. As much as he wished his didn't have to worry about it, Maria's safety was more important than whatever this was budding into.
In time he hoped that Gael would understand, family was important but this went above family. The thought that he suffer a similar hurt in the process entered Eric's mind. It didn't sit well, but he'd have to handle that when it came.
"I doubt you'll want to chase an ambulance around town." He cocked an eyebrow towards Gael who looked like he was waiting for Eric to kiss him again. "914-555-1647. Text or call." He leaned in to plant a kiss back on Gael's lips. "You can always introduce me to you're sister another time." There was way too much energy flying through the air for him to go any further tonight.
