Re: Eric & Gael
There wasn't much red in Gael's flags. A best friend turned lover then ex didn't truly mean that he was off limits, but there was definite baggage that came with all those freshly sown emotions on top of that he'd moved back in with what Eric assumed was a rather protective mother who might not take kindly to any new addition to her son's life even if they were a local.
Still, there was something about his honesty that made Eric want to explain the more cryptic things he'd mentioned at Sunny's bar. "We can always try to cook at my place. It's free during the week, and she's only there during the weekend." He was sure Maria would be more than happy not to be around an old man on a date if it came down to it. "We talked vaguely about you living there at the bar, it doesn't bother me."
"The pack stuff." He gestured across the party at Maria. "That's what I'm dealing with. She's a friend of the family who I've been tasked with babysitting. My dad's the pack master so it's not like a really have a choice." There wasn't much more to be said about it. The fact that Maria was a werewolf didn't matter except for about a week out of the month. "So it depends on if that counts as a red flag or not."
Eric leaned in close to him, "There isn't much there to change my mind about." If this is what Gael wanted there he wasn't going to stop him.
