Benny laughed and shook his head. "No, I mean parties I'm not so bad at and it's great for meeting new people," he said, gesturing to Michael and his very nice suit as a case in point. "I was more meaning in the local area. I've driven around a fair amount so I can navigate downtown and tell people about some of the neighbourhood pockets and such, but that's work and I've got a bunch of sterile facts and not much actual local experience."
"I should probably explain that I just took over my family's real estate portion of a real estate office," he said. "Or I sound like I have weird priorities in moving to an area. So far most of what I know about Sleepy Hollow is the bar, and I don't think you work there." He gave the man another glance up and down. Definitely not from the bar.
