Eli + open
Eli hadn't planned to head back to the East Coast so soon, but the news that Eric was officially taking over the pack had piqued his intrigue. The man was nice to look at and all, but had been kind of a mess from everything he'd gleaned over Thanksgiving. Which seemed about right for this pack. Still, Eli was firmly of the opinion that anyone was better than Craig Reed.
Armed with healthy curiosity and a bank of vacation days that his boss seemed a little too pleased to approve, Eli was crashing in Fiona's guest room again. He felt nervous about shifting with the pack tonight, not only the first time in over a decade, but the first time since he'd lost his legs. Not only that but he felt annoyed with that part of himself that somehow felt soothed by being around these people after a few shitty weeks at work.
If there was one good thing about Amy, it was her snacks, so Eli lingered out of the way by the table, trying to eat some of those feelings into submission.
