"Oh that's far more fun than puns," Heidi said enthusiastically. "I'm far better with something practical than writing or words in general." It definitely wasn't that she was incapable of doing something with words, but she was far happier doing something with her hands. "Not that ever shut me up," she admitted. "But you should definitely try to write a pun into a song," she enthused. It honestly sounded like a fun challenge to try and get a pun into a song to her, but she wasn't the one trying to write it. "I'm sure it's great for flexibility and the like, but I'd prefer dancercise or something, even if it's a bit out of date."
With as little as she knew of banshees she wouldn't have guessed that music was as essential to them as flying was to her, but it was a fun thing to find out. She took the opportunity of Cianán talking to take a couple more bites of food as she smiled and nodded. "I like music even if I don't know anything very technical about it," she said. "But I don't get people who don't like it either," she agreed. Szechuan food, which was where she knew numbing heat from, wasn't something she'd had often, but it was fun. "There are still so many places opening up their food to the world I'm sure you'll keep finding new things," she said. "I mean, even if it's not new sensations then surely new combos will be a thing." Maybe someone very old and very well travelled would run out, but in her lifetime she had no chance.
"I don't know about always been good at them, but I pretty much idolised my dad. He's an electrician, and I didn't want to follow him directly," she said. "I don't know I'll ever get to do what he did and work on something super big, but I only finished my ten thousand hours this year, so I've got plenty of time to get there." She had noticed he didn't seem to be eating at the moment, but she wasn't sure if that was because he had done eating or if he didn't need much. Clearly he did eat because he knew about different spices, but he was definitely drinking right now.
