New fic
I read this here as it was recced at the Sunnydale Herald - I'm friended to your LJ fic community, but didn't realise that you had embraced IJ so thoroughly. I don't have an IJ (only have an LJ to read fic).
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this. You've written lost and despairing Spikes before and some lying-to-themselves Buffys too, but I think there is something unbearably poignant about these two, neither sure of who they are or what they want, but both yearning for even a moment of guilt-free acceptance. The fact that they each give in to the worst of their desires is painfully ironic. Thank you for this!
