Mind if I cut in?
When all the stuffy training and lectures were done, Audrey wanted a few moments to be by herself. To feel alive. And so, with wind breaker and matching pants donned and an iPod in her ear on low, she set off on a jog from her hotel. It was always good to get a feel for the city, and though she's been to New York before she's never had as much free time as she did now.
Well, free was figurative, really.
Her jogs brought her through the city, up and down streets, though she wasn't dumb about it. Then again, thugs really didn't scare her: she could easily break them in half if they tried anything, though she knew to stick to open public areas to not tempt any stupid males. Still, parks were always great, and Audrey jogged into one.
There was a playground at this one, with a few children playing, and Audrey stopped for a break and watched them as she drew some sips from her water bottle.
