"Why should I expect you to lie for me?" He asked honestly, reluctantly turning back to Gabriel once he took a seat back on the bench. "And how will I know you will keep lying for me? That they aren't threatening you for information? I'm not so sure the word of Nathan Petrelli can be trusted. I mean. He did abandon Peter on numerous occasions, some of them life or death situations and he's his own brother. What makes you so sure you will remain protected?" He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose between a thumb and fore finger.
"If you get immunity for myself and Molly, you'll have to get immunity for everyone. You know as well as anyone else that none of us can be very dangerous unless provoked. Tracey Strauss is not a dangerous person in herself. If she is threatened, that freezing power becomes deadly." He frowned, "I can break someone's back or neck by squeezing them hard enough. With one punch placed on the sternum of someone, I can sufficiently suppress the ribcage more than two inches, crushing the heart and causing a heart attack, or fatal puncture wounds of the lungs and heart. We're all dangerous in our own ways, Gabriel, so don't sit here and tell me they are only hunting the one's who are a threat." He almost laughed then, because he sounded insane. "I've done the tests. Scientific curiosity, you could call it. I think I am getting stronger too..."
He walked back over to Gabriel again and stood in front of him. "I know you care, but there are some things in the world that you can't make others understand unless they see it for themselves. You don't need any chances, because I don't want you to do anything. Let what is supposed to happen, happen. If you start making exceptions, others will expect it of you... and what happens if they find out you've been making exceptions? Giving me information I'm not supposed to have? And don't think I will keep it to myself, either. I will help out every special I can out there if it means that they'll stay safe, too. If you help one, you have to help them all." He paused for a moment. "The other night Molly told me I'd always be her hero. I plan on showing her exactly what a hero is made of."
