"I speak only the truth, my dear," Adam said as he leaned in, pressing another kiss to her lips, gentle and lingering as to test her readiness. She was bold and independent, but she was also delicate, and he didn't want to push too fast if she wasn't ready. It was clear that she wanted this, that she needed it, and the opportunity was ripe with their chance to take it. But there was also no rush. Daniel had related his plans earlier, and there was little to no chance that they would wrap up early and unexpectedly. And bar any accidents, Nathan was gone as well. They were free to do as they pleased for the next two days. So there was certainly no rush.
His hands played around her waist as he kissed her, feeling the hesitation in her stance. He leaned back, ever so briefly, to look up into her eyes, "Do you want me to guide you?" He asked, a soft understanding in his gaze. It was difficult, after that first love, to know how to move on. It was a pain that he knew several times over all too well. And he was going to take his time to make sure that she was comfortable.
