Danko earned a confident handshake as well, as well as a polite smile. Though, at expressing her familiarity, Audrey canted her head faintly in thought. Danko.. now that she thought about it, it did sound familiar. She didn't give it much thought due to being stressed out about being in front of a Senator. "It wouldn't surprise me. You're from Los Angeles?"
Audrey's eyes widened a bit at the dart that was set down, and hesitantly reached out to pick it up. It was huge, and this guy was calmly carrying it in his pocket? Still, it was rather light, and she could see how aerodynamic it was. The thought of 50k volts coursing through her wasn't appealing, and she gently set it back down after inspecting it. Hopefully it wasn't like the 'pepper spray' initiation she had to go through back at the academy.
Nathan began to talk, and she straightened up, devoting her full attention to him. The last picture he hung caused her to raise an eyebrow faintly. Peter Petrelli. Yes, she's met him before. She wondered, oddly, if they were related. Maybe Petrelli was just a common name? Either that, or Nathan was colder than she thought.
"That is fine. I will give you all the information I know." She agreed, lacing her fingers together as she listened to the briefing. Good thing she came prepared; then again, it would have been unacceptable to her standards if she didn't.
She listened as he described, and her face remained more or less neutral. Ted Sprague, she had information on his murder in her briefcase as well. However, when he got to Parkman, her eyes widened faintly. That beat cop had the ability to control minds? How did he manage to get so powerful? Seeing Nathan looking at her, she shifted her eyes from him and looked at the board.
All of these people, these targets, sounded extremely dangerous. And Nathan, being either reasonable or stupid, wanted them brought in unharmed. Though.. Suresh and his 'antidote' proved promising.. She wasn't like Sylar, she didn't want to kill these people. It wasn't their fault they were born with freakish abilities.
When the attention shifted to her, she nodded. "Yes, that's correct, Senator. There was consistency with all of his murders; involving the removal of the victim's head as well as their brain. The brains were never recovered, so what he did with them was a mystery." She said this very evenly, as she's been through this whole spheal before and it was refreshing to do it around people who believed her. "His escapes were unpredictable; and unfortunately the FBI isn't equipped to deal with these kinds of murderers."
She glanced toward the board again. "Ted Sprague was a man we were able to obtain, and contain him sufficiently, until Sylar found out we had him in our custody." And that was the end of that. "Multiple suspects had been brought in for questioning during the Sylar chase. Peter Petrelli was one of them, having been at one of the brutal murders in Odessa, Texas." Her eyes shifted to Nathan, as if to gauge a reaction, before she went on. "During a few of the Sylar murders in 2006, I was working with Matt Parkman. At the time, I did not entirely believe he had an ability. He didn't seem to have a good grasp on it, so it must have been in it's early stages. I lost contact with him shortly after he lead me on a wild goose chase and terminated his assistance with my investigation."
She paused briefly. "Shortly after that, the trail went cold. It was like Sylar stopped killing."
