Molly beamed! “We are?” New York wasn’t her home. India wasn’t her home. Los Angeles would never be her home again. Mohinder and Matt were her home now; anywhere they were was her home. Tatta excused himself as well and left the two alone, giving them time to catch up. Out of everyone and everything in India Molly would miss that old man, whose companionship was the only thing that made being away from her heroes bearable, and whose company was the only thing to really comfort her when that Eclipse—Molly still thought it was God punishing her; she hadn’t been using her powers for the greater good, it only made sense, no matter what Mrs. Suresh and Tatta said.—took away her powers months ago. She’d miss him, but not as much as she missed Mohinder. Not as much as she missed Matt.
Speaking of…
“Does Matt know I’m here, that I’m okay?” She asked hopefully. She had been kept out of the loop for months and even fought the urge to “find” those two, just to ease her mind, but she still had to know. Mohinder proved that he hadn’t forgotten about her by showing up but had Matt? Call it paranoia, call it insecurity, but all those feelings wrecked her brain with Mohinder as well. She just wanted to know where she belonged. “Are we still going to be together?”
