"I was thinking I'd just spend the night on the couch, but if you want to have a sleep over I suppose we can do that, too." He smiles, thumbing through the books for a moment before setting them down. "Its whatever you want, Molly." He gives her another smile and looks at her again. "Have you grown already? I think you're growing too fast for my liking." He jokes.
He reaches into his bag again to give her the cell phone; the background was of the Statue of Liberty and hopefully that would give her insight to where they'd be going after their visit. Mohinder wasn't about to let Molly out of his sight any longer. He felt there was a much bigger threat than Gabriel now; he'd made his peace with him even though he wouldn't willingly share that information yet. Yes, there was a bigger threat, he just didn't know who or what it was yet. If any. Maybe he was just overreacting.
Maybe he was doing the wrong thing.
But it felt right. It felt right to be with Molly again; she needed all the love and affections Mohinder could muster up. He loved her, he knew that much. He loved her, and he'd be her protector. With his new power, he'd make sure of it that no one hurt the young girl ever again.
