Sylar frowned slightly when she introduced him as Gabriel, she was used to calling him that, and he had told it to both Nathan and to Mohinder that he was going by it now, but still, when it came to strangers he preferred to be introduced as Sylar. He grumbled softly at her and glanced up at this man and quickly shot in "I'm more known as Sylar," before she said his name, and that made his brow crease again. Adam Monroe...the name sounded vaguely familiar to him, though he wasn't quite sure where he had heard it before. But if Elle knew him, he had to be something involved with the company, because well, it wasn't like Elle had ever had any normal friends that he knew of.
He winced slightly at the mention of Elle's father, he had killed him after all and then bragged about having the ability to Elle before he had tried to kill her the first time, so it wasn't something that they talked about on a day to day bases. Or well, ever really. However, he did stretch out a hand to Adam, he could after all still hold around Elle with one arm, though once the hands were shaken his grip went to tighten around her again and he looked this Adam up and down with a careful, calculating gaze.
"Ancient?" he asked and arched an eyebrow slightly, looking him over again before it dawned upon him. "Ah, regeneration?" he asked and smirked slightly. The ability apparently had more perks than just being able to heal from anything. "Well then, I hope that I look as good as you do whenever I reach whatever age you do."
He looked him over again, his brow still slightly creased as he tried to figure out just how they knew each other. There was part of him, his extremely jealous part that immediately assumed that perhaps Adam had been a mission from the company just like he was, and he didn't like. "So, how exactly do you and Elle know each other?"
