She nodded slightly when he explained, and she almost asked why he'd come back before realizing it was a well duh sort of question. He'd probably been asked back like most of the rest of them. He had to have been invited; the public announcements had only started going out a day or so ago. "Was it ... very different when you were here and magic was all right?" She didn't know how much of a chance he'd had to look around, but she figured he could still have a first impression.
Clara did wonder why he'd left, but people moved on for all sorts of reasons and not every reason was everyone's business -- so she kept her mouth closed on that one.
