Who: Bucky & Steve What: Steve finally finding Bucky out on the streets When: Evening Where: Out in town, and then back at their apartment Status | Rating: Closed to them | Who knows.
It had been a bit over a month ever since Bucky had come to this town against his will. One month and ten days, to be exact, and he hated ever last second of it. So shortly after he had sent his last message to Steve, the man that he knew - or at least he thought that he knew, until Hydra told him otherwise - he had left the building and began to roam the streets of Hemlock Grove. He had gotten weird looks from people who never saw a man with a full metal arm before, but he just looked at them menacingly and went about his way.
Days turned into nights, which turned back into days. The nightmare of Hydra finding him and getting him to be their perfect Winter Soldier used to plague him, but not anymore. He no longer screamed out in the middle of the night from said nightmares. Even so, the conversation that he had with Steve somewhat haunted him for days on end, until he finally ended up digging out the phone that he was given and sent him a message. It wasn't long - only two words - but deep down he knew that the other super soldier would come find him. After all this time, Bucky felt that he was no longer the bad ass Winter Soldier. Instead he was slightly scared and totally alone, and Steve...Steve was his only friend, the one that he pushed away.
Sitting down the sidewalk near a building, he stared as cars went by, his knees huddled up to his chest as he leaned into the cold brick wall. Under normal circumstances, he would keep awake, only to let his brain shut down for a few minutes at a time. But that was back when Hydra had control over him. He wasn't their toy anymore - partly because he ran from them, and partly because the organization was no longer. But as of right now, he let down his guard slightly and allowed himself to close his eyes, shutting out the world around him.
