Who: Cordelia and Angelus.
What: Angelus wants to play.
Where: Cordelia's apartment.
When: Backdated to a day or two ago.
Warnings: Language/violence/etc seem quite likely.

The last time Cordelia and Angelus met, they'd made a deal. (Okay, so technically Jasmine had made it, but that wasn't his problem.) If he helped them save the world from the Beast, she'd let him have his way with her. Not that he needed a deal like that; he could've had any woman he wanted, whether they wanted him or not. That was the great thing about being a vampire. But sleeping with the woman Angel loved -- the woman he thought Angel had lost his soul to, thanks to the alternate reality illusion he'd been under at the time -- and ruining her for him forever, that sounded pretty damn appealing.

Of course, then she reneged on the deal, eventually he got re-ensouled, and Cordelia died a year later. So he thought he'd lost out on that opportunity. He should've had more faith, should've known it was only a matter of time before the stars aligned for him. How fitting that it happened in Hell, too. Or at least one version of it. He'd seen quite a few by now, and this one wasn't as impressive as some. The whole "LA as a hell dimension" thing was played out. The Senior Partners really liked going back to the same old bag of tricks, didn't they? Although he had to admit, sending Angel here after he'd gotten himself killed to escape HelLA the last time -- that had done some pretty fun things to the souled vampire's psyche.

But right now he was more interested in Cordelia's psyche. She wanted to play a game? Then he'd give her one. Instead of picking the lock to get into her apartment, or even knocking the door down, he went a different route. He knocked on the door, weakly but urgently, as if he was injured. He'd gotten into a few fights earlier, let them rough him up a little so he'd look somewhat worse for the wear. "Cordelia?" he called, breathing heavily and using his best guilty, downtrodden Angel voice. "Cordy, help me. I don't -- I don't think I can hold Angelus off much longer. He's trying to come back, please, you have to lock me up again!"
