"It's good to meet you, Lydia," she replied, happy to have made contact with someone else from outside of this weird place. "It seems like there are are a fair few of us who've been taken, though I don't see a good reason why any of it is happening on the network," Sookie said with a frown. "I don't suppose you got any clues on that front? I mean, I haven't exactly been here very long." Though, from what she had gathered so far, no one had been here that long - just a darn sight longer than her!
When Lydia warned her about the dangers of the streets she couldn't help but look around, in case she'd missed something obvious, but it was the same seedy, and kinda creepy, street she'd come down. "What sort of danger are we talking here?" Sookie asked, her curiosity peaked. Her life for the last few years had seemed to lurch from one sort of danger to another, and she was the kind of girl who liked to know what shape trouble was coming in, so that she could blast it with her light and run.
"I hope you don't mind me bringing this up," she knew that her next question was bordering on rude, but she just couldn't help herself. "I couldn't help but notice, Lydia, that you're not... altogether human. Might I ask what kinda creature you are?" cause she sure had a list as long as her arm of things that she wasn't! Something told her that she'd never met anyone quite like this girl, and there was excitement as well as nervousness in Sookie's eyes as she waited on her answer.
