Lydia knew she shouldn't have gone out on her own. She didn't plan on going far, and if she screamed, she knew any werewolves in the vicinity would hear her. She should have stayed inside, especially after being attacked by a vampire on her first night here. It was better not to go exploring at night. But she couldn't stay inside all of the time, either. They'd all go crazy like that. And Lydia felt crazy enough most of the time.
She wasn't going to stray far from the apartments. She just needed to clear her head a bit. So much had happened recently, and she still didn't know what all of it meant. She was a banshee. That had been what Miss Blake had called her. And she knew what a banshee was in folklore, but that didn't mean it would be exactly the same for her. If someone heard her screaming though, it would signal that death might be on its way. Lydia didn't want to just find bodies. A banshee was a type of faerie, she knew that much. Maybe that was why she was immune to becoming a werewolf and all of that. It didn't explain everything though, and while she was trapped here...she might never find out.
She spotted the other person, she didn't look like she belonged. She didn't give off the strange appearance and whatever else was going on with the people in this city. It almost seemed like they were hardly there at all. Shells of whoever they'd been outside of this hell dimension. Lydia didn't expect Sookie to start talking to her like she did, but that was alright. "Lydia Martin." She introduced herself. "And yes, I was kind of kidnapped too." Along with some of her friends, and a lot of other people here. "It's pretty dangerous out here, you shouldn't go far from these apartments."
