“You, like anyone else, are capable of anything.” Not that it mattered anymore. They had pretty much moved past the shaking hands stage. “Doctor it is then.” If that is what this person wanted to be called, so be it. He wasn’t going to argue with him. There was no point in it. “Good to know.” He definitely didn’t want any surprises like that. “Would you mind if I told a friend of mine about you. He’s oddly fascinated with aliens and life out in space.” He didn’t want to mention any of this to Tom if he wasn’t allowed to share.
At first Hal wasn’t going to answer the Doctor, hell, he still wasn’t quite sure why he even mentioned that he was indeed a vampire. “Where I’m from we drink blood. I choose not to.” Nothing really seemed to faze the Doctor and he wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. “I was living with one before I woke up here.” Of course there was Leo before Tom, but it wasn’t like he needed to start making a list. “Yes, like a washing up rota.” And now he was glaring. “Did you miss the bit where I said that I don’t drink blood? I don’t kill people and I do not drink their blood. If I did no one in this building would be alive by morning, including you.” Now that he’s made that point, he moved on. “Right. I will have a rota up by tomorrow afternoon. You will do your share of the work around here because I will not live in filth.” He sighed. “Great, I’m living with Tom 2.0…” Why couldn’t he have just been paired off with Tom if he was still going to have to deal with basically the same things? Why make him suffer even more?
