"You're not rampaging then?" Tom sounded genuinely confused as he looked first at Hal and then at his stake and back again. "I mean, I know you're back on the blood and all, but I didn't expect to just find you...walking. It's not very vampire-y, is it?" He lowered his hand, though he wasn't right ready to put the weapon away quite yet, after all, Hal could be playing a trick to get him to lower his defences so that he could strike! As soon as the thought struck him the hand raised once more. "Just because I woke up next to a woman doesn't mean you can try and confuse me, Hal! You know who Hatch is. He's The Devil, and he's tricked us into believing we're in American," his brow dipped in confusion, "though why he'd bring us all the way to America and not take us to Disneyland is a bit mean, even for The Devil, innit?" Tom watched carefully, just waiting for Hal to pounce...but he didn't, which was a bit weird seeing as how he was all evil and all. "Right then. So long as you're not rampaging I won't be needing this, but don't try and trick me, I'm ready for that!" he warned as he slipped the stake into his coat. "Why aren't you trying to kill me, Hal? Or are you still going to help us kill Hatch first?"
