Jeremy didn't care what Elena had done. She was his sister. He loved her unconditionally. He may not have agreed with it, but he certainly wouldn't blame her for it, because he'd watched her lose all of her family. He was the proverbial straw that broke the camels back. He hugged her tighter when she started to cry harder, a hand moving to cradle the back of her head. "Sssh, it's okay," he said. "It's okay."
"You flipped the switch because Damon told you to, and the sire bond is strong, Elena. You've been through a lot and sometimes it can all just get too much. Hell, I know how that feels and I'm not even a vampire with heightened emotions. You're still the strongest person that I know because most people would have fallen apart long before now if they had to deal with everything you've had to deal with."
"Of course they will," he said. "Caroline is your best friend. Damon loves you, which is why he told you to turn it off to begin with. Stefan loves you too, even if you seem to be swaying more toward Damon these days. I'm not sure what that's about. Though... Rose did tell me a few things that made me understand it a little more."
