characters: Everyone!
setting: The ballroom in the apartment building, on the first floor, tonight
summary: the senior partners throw a party, and everyone better be there
rating/warnings: maybe high
status: in progress

---

The ballroom was all set up for the party. The Senior Partners instructions had been clear. Everyone would be in attendance, or there would be serious consequences. And they hadn't been joking. They did try to make it fun for everyone though, and everyone would have found a variety of costumes to choose from waiting in their apartments, well before the party. Maybe this was their way of making up for the horrible things they'd put them through, or maybe it'd just be fun to watch them be all paranoid.

It was the party of the year, and no one was allowed to miss it. All they had to do now was wait.

Harry Dredsen was present, dressed in a voluminous, black, hooded cape, looking a bit like the Grim Reaper but calling himself the Ghost of Christmas Future. He'd modeled his costume off the old film of A Christmas Carol, in all its dark glory--but in truth, Christmas Yet to Come was his icon of hope that Winter was not Forever. His own subtle rebellion against his own personal White Witch.

Okay, so he was a nerd, and he was making a million and one fandom references that only those who knew him well would truly understand. But he didn't care. Underneath the cape, he was armed for the apocalypse.
